We're a team of eight, in one office, in Madurai. We're hiring three people in 2026 — slowly, with care, and only for roles that need to exist. If your inclination is to move home and build something close to the people you're building it for, read on.
In-person, in Madurai.
This is not a remote role. We're an in-person team, and we believe the product will be worse the day we stop being one. If you'd need to relocate, we'll help — moving allowance, two months of housing, a recommendation from Devanand to four landlords.
You'll see your work in the product within a week.
We ship daily. The verification queue is in one room, support is in another, and the product team can ship a fix before lunch. Most of what we build comes from a comment overheard in the office, written into a ticket the same afternoon.
You don't need to be Sourashtra.
Half the team isn't. We want people who care about doing right by a small community — being from it helps but isn't the prerequisite. We hire for thoughtful work, not for the surname.

Senior Full-stack Engineer
Postgres, Node, React. You'll own the verification pipeline and the Family Council backend.
Product Designer
Type, layout, and interaction across the marketing site and the product. Bilingual instincts a plus.
Community Matchmaker
Works alongside Priya. The Diamond plan matchmaker — knows the community, has the network.

~6 hours, paid (₹5,000 flat). For design: walk us through three pieces of past work. For engineering: a small bug in our codebase. For matchmaking: have coffee with three Diamond members.
